My artistic journey began quite late. Whilst rearing young children I craved a creative outlet. Naturally, I decided to combine my rich indigenous heritage with my love for art.
Since beginning my journey in 2022 I have seen a keen interest in indigenous art increase exponentially. There is a great satisfaction in sharing my story on canvas, with the world.

Sian Harris
Sian Harris
0472184188
Sian Harris is a Kurnu Paakantyi woman from Wilcannia in far west New South Wales. She is a contemporary Aboriginal artist who works mainly with acrylic on canvas and mixed media works on paper.
Her body of work comes from the worldview of a Kurnu Paakantyi Nhuungku. The pieces are at once personal and political, in keeping with the artist’s stance that her presence, as a self-presenting Blak Woman, in systems and structures built to exclude her, is a radical act. The work focuses on Paakantyi Spirituality; Aboriginal resistance; connection to Country; decolonising queerness; mental illness; and representations of womanhood and the female form.

He married in 1992 to and had three children. After getting injured at work and forced to retire he decided to play a bigger part in his cultural background, with the aid of one of his uncles he returned to country. He became involved in several committees. After having a cousin stay for a while, he became intrigued with the way he did his dot paintings.
He then decided to become more involved in learning the process of dot painting. The first few paintings were all traditional dot painting, but he started in introduce his own twist and style into each painting. Craig tries to tell a story with each and every unique painting.
